Dear Friends and Supporters,
What a journey!
I am very proud to have participated in such a historic election. In 2006 I received 39.5% of the vote and in 2008 I received 42.5%. My opponent is being termed out, so in 2010 there will be no incumbent in this district so I will be the best known candidate in 2010.
Of course I'd like to congratulate Chuck DeVore and his supporters on a hard fought campaign.
We ran an excellent campaign and I am very proud of our efforts, especially in light of our limited resources.
Our campaign started with the grassroots support from people like you. I can't thank you enough for your help and dedication.
I am firmly committed to improving the lives of all Californians, and I hope to have your continued support!
